Ask deeper and follow up questions: Notice which challenges the founder says lie ahead.
E.g. A company must present a commercial LOI (Letter Of Intent) with a customer before an institutional investor will invest. Try to put yourself in the shoes of the potential customer negotiating the LOI from the other side of the table: What would be your remaining concern?
What is your recommendations to Founder overcoming this concern?
